Description

"I shall eat the meat and drink the wine and have the woman when he is mouldering in the grave."

I've read nearly three-quarters of this wonderful book, The Witching Hour, by Anne Rice. I love it, and I'm eager to finish it. It is part one of three of a series about the Mayfair family in New Orleans, a long line of witches that dates back to the mid-17th century. With each generation, the eldest daughter is selected as the beneficiary of the Mayfair legacy and all its riches and property - and with all this comes the mysterious brown-haired, brown-eyed spirit, who goes by the name of "Lasher".

This is my best interpretation of how he might look... at least, using the best stock I could find. I've always imagined him a little more underdressed than this; perhaps with an 19th-century necktie, rather than a cravat. -shrug-

I really enjoyed reading this book, though I've gotta admit, out of all the characters from any book I've ever read, Lasher is without a doubt one of the most twisted ones ever.
